YHA Sherwood Forest – Free Familiarisation Visit 10th April

Forthcoming familiarisation visit to YHA Sherwood on 10th April 2014 – places still available.

This event is free of charge and an overnight stay may be available if required to get a good feel for the venue and accommodation, subject to availability:

To help group leaders to make the very best of your stay with YHA School Trips, YHA runs a series of familiarisation events at centres throughout England and Wales. During your vist you will see a wide range of activities, sample the food and refreshments, tour the hostel and explore the local attractions.

The familiarisation events enable teachers and other group leaders to:

  • Get hands-on experience of a variety of National Curriculum-linked challenges and activities
  • Gain advice on planning a residential visit with YHA and the support that we can provide
  • Explore a selection of YHA centres
  • Meet the staff and ask questions
  • Discover the benefits our trips provide for their pupils
