Overseas Expeditions & Fieldwork Course for Teachers and Youth Leaders

This one day course has been designed by the RGS-IBG for any school leader planning an overseas expedition, community project or fieldwork.

The workshop will look at how to select and work with an overseas visit provider and/or how to establish your own effective links with overseas host communities. The workshop will also cover issues surrounding effective risk and crisis management as well as the quality of the educational experience.

Who should attend: teachers and youth leaders who plan to lead overseas expeditions and fieldwork, schools wanting to organise an expedition themselves, or for EVCs supporting their colleagues in this role.

Cost: £120 (incl. VAT). The price includes course notes, lunch and refreshments.
