Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) National Conference 2013

19 November 2013 at Castle Head Field Centre, Grange over Sands, Cumbria

This years’s conference organised by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom is called LOtC for All:

This year’s conference will focus on ensuring that all young people can benefit from learning outside the classroom experiences, whatever their age, abilities or circumstances; and will feature inspiring speakers, practical case studies and hands-on workshops to help you think about and develop your LOtC practice.

We are very excited to have the prestigious Castle Head Field Centre as venue for our conference this year, which provides an opportunity to showcase the high quality residential opportunities available for schools within the natural environment sector.

Professor Mick Waters is confirmed as keynote speaker for the conference.

Mick is a charismatic speaker, he will be using his experience as a curriculum expert to talk about opportunities for delivering inspiring outdoor learning activities for all young people in the context of the new National Curriculum.
