Moors for the Future is a partnership between the National Trust, the Peak District National Park Authority, Natural England, Yorkshire Water, Severn Trent Water,the Environment Agency, United Utilities and Derbyshire County Council.
In February 2003 the Moors for the Future Partnership was formed to attempt to tackle the problem of moorland erosion in the Peak District.
The Moors for the Future Partnership has three objectives:
1. To raise awareness of why the moors are valuable and to encourage responsible use and care of the landscape – Learn & Discover resources here.
