Learning Through Landscapes

Inspiring outdoor learning and play.
Learning through Landscapes (LTL) is a national organisation which helps schools and early years settings make the most of their outdoor spaces for play and learning.

School grounds are essential to children’s learning and development, providing opportunities for healthy exercise, creative play, making friends, learning through doing and getting in touch with the natural world.

Learning Through Landscapes believe all children have the right to enjoy and benefit from well designed, managed and used school grounds.

LTL provides free resources and publications and access to the latest research in this field. They provide information which is specific to early years settings and to schools.

They are committed to researching better use, design and management of school grounds. This ensures that their policies, resources, publications and services are based on current thinking and valuable practical experience.

More information is available from their we site at www.ltl.org.uk
